Last night I made dinner, knackwurst with carmelized onions and jalapenos, baked potatoes, and homemade sauerkraut. The sauerkraut probably needs some time getting stinkier, but otherwise it was a great dinner. Oh, and I whipped together a quick mustard out of ground seeds and vinegar - that's a concoction I need to practice. Luckily, I had a coarse brown mustard in the fridge, so I didn't have to go without.

I'm gearing up to see ROTK on opening day. Really excited to go. I've enjoyed both previous movies on the several occasions I've watched them, and it will be nice to get the closure. And hopefully have a great cinema experience.

Today I got something done that had been nagging me for months. It was a tiny victory, a small step to getting back on a path.

I had a lot of fun Thanksgiving weekend. I saw some people I hadn't seen in a long time. Even though I'd always enjoyed their company, and they mine, a couple of years ago I got it in my head that we couldn't be friends for some reason. I don't really remember why; it was a pretty confusing time in my life.

Now, though, I remember why we enjoyed each others' company so much - because we build on each other's energy and enthusiasm - and it was nice to have that for a day.

Maybe this is saccharin and bathetic. I don't care. It's the truth.
